Colleen McCreadie
Managing Director & Lead Environmental Assessment Practitioner

Colleen is a registered environmental assessment practitioner with the Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association of South Africa (Reg. No.: 2018/166). Colleen has 16 years’ experience in environmental management. Her core areas of expertise include environmental impact assessment, project management and post-authorisation management of projects in the industrial and agri-industry sectors across South Africa.
Sectors of experience include galvanizing, foundries, oil / hydrocarbon storage and processing, energy-to-gas biodigesters, pyrolysis, fruit processing and poultry farming and associated agri-processing. Colleen has assisted numerous clients to minimise their environmental impacts and find solutions to environmental compliance challenges in practical ways. Since Colleen is great with numbers and economics, she assists companies with Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting, and emissions calculations and reporting on the National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory System (NAEIS).
Lauren Elston
Lead Environmental Assessment Practitioner

Lauren is a registered environmental assessment practitioner with the Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association of South Africa (Reg. No. 2020/981). Lauren Elston is a Senior Environmental Consultant with 15 years’ experience in the environmental management and impact assessment industry. She specialises in Environmental Impact Assessment, Air Quality Management, Water Use Management and Environmental Auditing.
Her core expertise includes environmental impact assessment and management of projects in the renewable energy, waste, agricultural, infrastructure, industrial, mining, and mixed-use development sectors in South Africa. In, Lauren has experience in Water Use Licences, Atmospheric Emission Licences, Waste Management Licences, Mine Closure, and the development of Environmental Management Programmes.
Andre Bruwer
Environmental Engineer
MEng (Environmental Engineering), 2017, University of Pretoria
Andre is an environmental/ chemical engineer with more than 5 years’ experience in air quality management, air quality dispersion modelling and monitoring.
Andre’s areas of expertise are in Atmospheric Emissions Licence (AEL) applications (including renewals and variations), Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting, emissions calculations and reporting of client’s emissions on the National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory System (NAEIS).
Andre also undertakes post-commission monitoring / auditing of industries in terms of environmental compliance.
Mellissa Mc James
Administrative Support, Mapping Support & Public Participation Co-Ordinator
Mellissa fulfils the role of operational administrative support, mapping support and public participation co-ordinator at The Environmental Practice.
Mellissa has 14 years’ experience and since joining Enviroprac, she offers support on a variety of associated public participation/information processes and has extensive experience in formatting, styling and compilation of reports.
